Aarhus Centre Novi Sad has a mission to help government authorities to fulfill their obligations and duties under the Aarhus Convention, by promoting appropriate legislation and practices in support of access to information, public participation and access to justice in environmental field. While acting as a bridge between government, civil society, business and the public, we also strive to catalyze application of the Convention by raising awareness and building capacity of stakeholders, serving the wider community by providing relevant services to them, contributing to the protection of the right of every person, of present and future generations, to live in an environment adequate to his or her health and wellbeing.

Aarhus Centre Novi Sad is mostly active in the Southern Backa district, Srem District and Southern Banat District and implements all the activities with the support of 3 persons and 5 volunteers.
