Aarhus Centre Aktobe

The Aarhus Centre Aktobe's goal is to improve access to information regarding environmental information and to ensure public participation in the decision making process. 

The Centre's main fields of activity include:

• Participation in the dialogue platforms to promote efficient water resources and land management, mitigation of climate change, municipal waste utilization and green economy issues;

• Support, in the field of environmental impact assessment, of analysis of the potential influence of a certain activity on the environment;

• Facilitation of consultations with the concerned parties, both international and national, seeking to reach agreeable solutions;

• Environmental monitoring.
