The Aarhus Centre promotes the access to information, justice and public participation in decision-making process on environmental matters in the city of Almaty and the Almaty region.

The main activities include:

• dissemination of information on environmental issues;
• delivery of trainings, seminars and lectures to increase awareness of environmental issues;
• promotion of education and advocacy in environmental issues
